 | | THE COMPETITIVENESS CLUSTER AT THE SIMODEC 2008 TRADE FAIR | Following its participation in 2006, Arve-Industries Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc will be present for a second time at the SIMODEC trade fair, an essential appointment in the competitiveness cluster’s diary. The competitiveness cluster now brings together over 170 industrial companies in the mechanical sub-contracting sector and the leaders in the mecatronics industry with a new membership growth rate of over 40% in one year. 90% of members are small and medium-sized companies.
The objective is to offer global solutions and to invent the sub-contracting industry of tomorrow. By federating the energy of companies, laboratories, training centres and local authorities, Arve-Industries has succeeded in carrying out projects at three strategic levels: process, organisation and product. Over half of these proactive small and medium-sized companies are involved in the competitiveness cluster’s projects or actions and they all have a desire to participate actively in industrial evolution.
All the cluster’s partners (Ctdec, Sndec, Thésame, Csm, Osst…) will be together on the competitiveness cluster’s stand, meaning that visitors will be able to find out about all the cluster’s projects and meet the various representatives depending on the project themes. All the team members will be present.
If, on one hand, the projects for technological innovation are making progress, the Economic Environment actions are also making headway. It is for this reason that three conferences will be organised at SIMODEC around the following themes:
1 - Economic intelligence
2 - Financing innovation
3 - Talents 2010 (Employment/Human resources)
A special event relating to the Talents 2010 project is also planned on the Arve-Industries stand with the participation of young school children and companies.
